This page explains refunds for things you buy from other users through TIRIDRO, and for things you buy from TIRIDRO itself. It does not affect your legal rights.
1. Items bought from other users through the TIRIDRO basket
The seller is responsible for the item. Your rights depend on who the seller is:
- Business sellers: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. For most goods bought online from a business you can also cancel within 14 days of receiving them under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (some items, such as perishable food or personalised items, are excluded).
- Private sellers: the item must be as described. You do not have a right to return it just because you changed your mind, unless the seller offers this.
How a return works
- Open your order and use the return option, saying what is wrong and adding photos.
- The seller has 3 days to answer. If they accept, or do not answer in time, the return goes ahead. If they refuse, the case goes to TIRIDRO and we decide.
- Return postage: the seller pays if the item is faulty, damaged, not as described or the wrong item. If you changed your mind (where a return is allowed) you pay, and the cost is taken off your refund.
- Refund: made once the item is back β when the seller confirms they received it, or automatically 7 days after the return parcel is delivered. Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with.
Fresh food
Fresh food cannot be returned for a change of mind. If it arrives spoiled, damaged or wrong, report it with 1β3 photos within 48 hours of delivery. You do not send it back; you are refunded if the seller accepts or does not answer in 3 days.
2. Contact-only deals
Services, jobs, property, vehicles, items sent from abroad and any deal paid outside the TIRIDRO basket are agreed directly between you and the other person. TIRIDRO cannot refund them. You can still report the listing or the seller to us.
3. TiriCoins
- TiriCoins bought by card or bank transfer are not refundable once they are added to your TiriBank, except where the law requires.
- TiriCoins spent on a feature (for example promotion or a membership) are not refundable once the feature has started, except where the law requires.
- TiriCoins received as rewards or bonuses have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
4. Promote (listing promotion)
Promotion starts as soon as you buy it, so it cannot be cancelled for a refund. If a fault on our side stops your promotion from showing, contact us and we will put it right.
5. Subscriptions (agencies, dealers, recruiters)
Subscriptions are paid in advance for each period and are not refundable for a period already started, except where the law requires. You can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
6. Lead credit
Lead credit does not expire and is spent only when you choose to unlock an enquiry. Credit spent on an enquiry is not refundable because the contact details have been released to you. Unspent credit may be refunded at our discretion on request.
7. Education application service
If you cancel before we start work on your application you get a full refund. Once we have started preparing or submitting it, the fee covers the work done and is not refundable, except where the law requires. A rejected application does not by itself give a right to a refund: the service covers preparing and submitting your application, not the admission decision.
8. How to ask for a refund
For an order, use the return option in your order. For anything else, email [email protected] with your username and the date of the payment.
